Multiple Riders Reportedly Fall From Goliath Coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia
Media Crew, some scary moments coming out of Georgia.
Emergency crews rushed to Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell after reports that multiple riders fell from the Goliath roller coaster. According to emergency dispatch audio from the scene, responders were called to the park for someone who had "fallen off of the Goliath ride" — with three patients reportedly needing medical attention.
Footage circulating online (via @atlscoop) shows riders being evacuated off the Goliath's lift hill, walking down maintenance stairs with park staff assisting — so at minimum, something serious brought the ride to a stop mid-run.
Some early reports floating around claim the injuries are far more serious — but officials have not confirmed those details, and neither the park nor authorities have released an official statement yet. We're keeping it alleged until the facts are in.
We'll update this story as more information becomes available. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
